What is the issue addressed in this article? No child left behind act
What was main point of article? Students are doing better in math since NCLB act became in place in 2002. federal laws now require reading and math tests grades 3 - 8 every year, attempting to bring students to profiency by 2014. Results have shown better scores.
What have we read that relates to this topic? We haven't talked about this topic too much yet.
What opinions did the group have about this issue? Our group didn't agree with NCLB act because some children really aren't at standards even though they are pushed through.
